Our District Structure

Lions Districts

Lions Clubs are organised its through geographic hierarchy, ensuring that Clubs get the structural support they need while operating with full autonomy.

At foundational level, neighboring Clubs form Zones and Regions to collaborate on local events and share resources, keeping local groups connected without adding administrative overhead.

A region with at least 35 Clubs and 1,250 members, forms a District, led by a District Governor. The Governor and district team oversees leadership development, helps launch new Clubs, and ensures service aligns with global goals.

Several Districts form a Multiple District (such as Multiple District 410 Southern Africa), governed by a Council of Governors.

This structure allows Clubs to coordinate nationwide service initiatives, while enjoying the support of the international Lions network.

Multiple District 410 consists of District 410W and District 410E, as the map indicates.
